The dress code for the welcome dinner is dressy casual, this includes summer dresses or nice pants with a button-up shirt as examples, please no jeans.

For the farewell brunch, we are keeping it casual. Dress in whatever is most comfortable for you.

The average temperature in Franklin in September for a typical day ranges from a high of 85°F (29°C) to a low of 62°F (17°C). Some would describe it as very warm, humid but cool at night. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the weekend.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Please inquire with Southall for a list of preferred babysitters, if you do need to bring your kids to TN.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be taking place outside at the Hilltop Pavilion and Lawn at Southall. There will be shuttle services to transport everyone up to the top of the hill and shuttle services to transport everyone down following the cocktail hour, also taking place at the Hilltop Pavilion. Please wear appropriate shoes for walking on grass.

We have a hotel block for guests at Southall. These rooms are first come first serve and must be booked by 8/17/2024. We also have a hotel block for guests at The Hampton Inn in Cool Springs, TN (about 20 minutes away from Southall and transportation provided). Yes, we will be providing shuttle services to/from the Hampton Inn in Cool Springs to Southall Inn and Farms on both Friday night for the welcome dinner and Saturday for the Wedding ceremony and reception.
